New Cell paper on human response to sweeteners!

The impact of non-nutritive sweeteners on human metabolic health remains controversial. In this new randomized, controlled trial, we show that four common sweeteners (saccharin, sucralose, stevia, aspartame) alter the human microbiome, and that saccharin and sucralose impair glucose tolerance.
